News update

Strange how in life things can change overnight. The new place I was getting for my practice has fallen through. So I will start my search again on Monday. For now I am happy with the present room I use. It's just that I share with two others and it's not quite as flexible as I would like.

Maybe I will find something even better.....

Chocolate addiction!

Chocolate addiction! It's amazing just how many people seem to have a problem with chocolate.

Here is a lovely email I got this morning from a client I recently helped

I just wanted to email you to say hi and to let you know that since we last met I havent touched a speck of chocolate!! It has been 11 days and I havent had any desire, craving or thoughts about eating it so I hope it continues! If I feel at any time that I am having urges again I will come to see you straight away. It feels as though you have completely removed any emotion I had with chocolate and I am really grateful!

Thanks, you have really helped me out as it was completely controlling my life and my eating habits!!! I feel that I am totally in control of my food on a daily basis and I don't have to feel angry/ashamed/let down anymore which is a lovely feeling!!!!

Speak soon

Julie

My news!

My good news is that I am in the process of getting new premises for my practice. It's very near the place I am in now, just a few roads away, near Ealing Broadway. It should make a lovely consulting room. I am looking forward to getting it and making it a nice relaxing place for my clients to enjoy their treatment.

Will be letting you know more as time goes on!

My family and hypnotherapy

My grandaughter is 6 months old now and getting really cute. I was talking to my daughter the other day and she was saying how the hypnotherapy  I gave her in pregnancy did keep her very calm during the childbirth experience. She certainly has no worries about having another baby, which is good. She is generally a calm person, very mentally strong as well.

My son is a very different character,  what I call highly strung! He's an artist and when things in his life are going well he's on top of the world, but when life is difficult he gets really worried and down. It was his wife who told me this, and it's difficult for her at times.
When I go and see him in a week or two I am going to give him some therapy. I will do some ego stregthening and suggestion for having faith that everything will be OK. He is looking forward to this.

I have also recently helped my niece to give up smoking. She is 27 and had been wanting to give up for a long time. It has been successful,  she is very happy

Doctors rarely treat their own family but with hypnotherapy it seems fine to do this. I don't usually suggest it but wait for them to ask.

Binge drinking

I can't list everything I treat on my list because there are just too many things. So if you have an unusual problem do make contact.

For instance binge drinking is something that I treat more and more. Most often these clients are in there 20's and 30's
Hypnosis can be very effective with habit breaking.

Medical fears

Over the last few weeks I have seen a few people with medical related fears. Fear of needles, fear of blood tests and fear of operations. Hypnotherapy can help to overcome these feelings and face these procedures with a calm acceptance. That must make life so much better than living with fear.
