Decisions we make!!

So what have you decided about life? What roads are you traveling and where do you want to go from here? Ever had these questions run through your head? Have you ever thought of what it is you really know and what it is you might want to know? What if I was to tell you that the brain is not what it appears to be? Would you accept the idea that it is not or would you decide that you already know so anything different is wrong? What if it was possible that a person lived a full life with an IQ of 126 without a brain? Could it be possible or better yet what would it take for you to believe it actually happened? If it did happen and there is scientific proof from an autopsy then what would that do to your beliefs of who and what we really are? If a person can exist without a brain and has water in place of it then where are all of our stored memories, instincts and basically our higher self located at? Could it be the body as a whole is connected and works to store everything in its individual cells so each part of us stores the memories and basic essence of who we are? How would anyone really know for sure in the end but what if it is true then how would you feel about what you used to know? In the end we all decide things don't we? Depending on our values and beliefs we make moral decisions every day. We choose to believe things based on our knowledge. My question that I like to use is what if that knowledge is not true in the first place? What if we can change the results just by coming to a conclusion before hand and just wanting to prove it. Can we being the observer change what it is we observe just because it is what we believe? There is a study on light in which this same thing has been proven. Is light a particle or a wave? Depends on how you as the observer what it to be viewed in the end so far. Could it be possible that we decide what it is we want to see in the end and therefore that is what we see? How would we change that might be the next journey if we ever wanted to make that change in the first place? What would happen in you did not have any expectations to what something would be? Hopefully you might ask a couple of these questions when you are just sitting looking at something in the future.

Titles in the Hypnosis Community

So many times I see something that makes me wonder.  Lately it has been the use of titles in the Hypnosis field.  Take a look sometime and see how many PHD's we have in Hypnosis or Hypnotist using the term doctor when they are not medical doctors.  Depending on which organization you belong to makes the difference on what letters you use behind your name.  Depending on which state you practice in makes a difference in how you represent your trade and what words you use in your office.  Clients are to be used rather than patients because hypnosis is a non-medical trade legally.  Hypnotherapist is an assumption that they are qualified to work on people wanting behavior change but in reality Hypnotist also can do it depending on their training. I have been trained that their is no such thing as a Doctor of Hypnosis from an accredited college but then again it does not take much to get accredited anymore either. So what about all of these titles and how can you tell you are making a good choice in hypnotist in the end.  First of all titles do not make the hypnotist. They are worth the paper that they have been written on and each school has their own beliefs of what is earned. Ask the person you are going to see what training they have taken and find out if you like them in the end.  You need to be comfortable with your Hypnotist or Hypnotherapist in the end.  They should be open and up front with you and you should develop a link.  If you can not relate to them then don't waste your time and find someone you can relate to.  If they are representing themselves as a doctor then make sure you see a medical degree from them or ask them from what college they received their degree.  When it comes to degrees now a days you can buy any degree from an accredited college for the right money so don't be impressed with degrees.  Find that person that you are comfortable with and go with your instincts.
